Jam Session at Georgies Garage.  Downtown Vancouver , May 4th -Roundabout,  is the house band. Soft opening. An open jam for current and past students. 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Sign up list for spots. Early Bird gets in. We will have a backline of 3 guitar amps, one keyboard and amp,   a bass cabinet and of course a drum key. Bring your axe but only plug into what is in stage.

 

Introductory Jam – Usually 2 nights during a week – Rusty or wanting to get back to basics on jam session techniques. Occasionaly.

Emerging Workshop – Starts March 1st. People who don’t have a lot of stage experience or are new to their instruments and want to collaborate with others as they learn or are “rusty” and want to brush up.  Focus is on basics of chords, theory, tone, and ear training.
 
Advanced Workshop Starts March 1st. for more experienced musicians who know how to find alternate chord voicings, can read charts well or can pick up music by ear accurately, and who understand and can apply more advanced theory such as intervals. The Advanced Workshop will also begin to really focus on “band” versus “individual,” helping you to learn how to fit in with other players better and find your own part in the spectrum of sound.

Jam Session™  classes are taught in Vancouver,WA for the emerging or experienced player who wants to get more in touch with improvisation, networking and ease of Jam Sessions Open Mic situations. 

Classes are offered periodically throughout the year with a Blues focus for ease of communication. They are set up for aspiring musicians emerging or intermediate ability level, that want an outlet to raise their comfort level with performing in public (suggested instruments: Guitar, Bass, Key’s, Vocal, Drums, Harmonica, horns, violin).
